Call for sites 2026
Between the 12th February 2026 and 31st March 2026 we are inviting submissions for housing and employment sites provided they have a minimum developable area of at least 0.25ha or can deliver 5 or more dwellings or 500sq.m. of floorspace. We are also inviting submissions for minerals or waste sites.
Housing and employment site submissions should be made online using the ‘submit site’ button at the bottom of this page.
If you are interested in the submission of minerals or waste sites please use the relevant forms for these uses instead:

Document
If you want to know more about our new local plan, call for sites including the housing and employment sites previously submitted to us in 2024, further information is available on our webpage.
If you submitted a site to us previously in 2024, you do not need to submit it again unless you want to tell us about changes to the boundary or updated information.
Before you start
- To open the form in full screen, right click on the submit site button and select ‘open in new window’ – this makes the form and mapping larger.
- You can exit the form once you have started and go back to it later when you are ready to move on. The form will ask you if you want to resume your form or start a new one.
- The form will ask you to draw the boundary of the site onto an OS map base. You will also be able to upload any supporting documents at the end of the form.
- Once you finish and submit, you will receive an email acknowledgment with a reference number. The email will include a link to view your answers and/or print a copy of the form.
- The form is designed to ask relevant questions depending on the type of site you are submitting. Printing your answers once submitted will reveal various blanks which may not be relevant to the type of development you are proposing – do not be concerned about this - if we need more information, we will ask for it.
What will happen next?
Site submissions will be acknowledged and the data received will be held in accordance with data protection principles with personal data processed in line with our Strategic Planning Privacy Notice.
We may ask for additional information if it is needed. In addition, any supplemental information submitted to us that is not considered relevant at this stage may not be used.
Information received about sites will be published in due course. The call for sites will help inform the preparation of the new local plan.
If you have any questions you can contact us via email.
