Welcome to our online consultation site for the new local plan. During the local plan scoping consultation, we are sought views on the what the new local plan for Cheshire East should contain, and how future consultation and engagement should be carried out. Once finalised, the new local plan will set the vision for the future development of the area, include planning policies, allocate sites for development, and will form the basis for making decisions on planning applications into the 2040s.
The consultation closed at 5pm on 1st September 2026. We are currently processing the comments submitted online, and inputting the responses received by email and by post.

You can view the comments submitted by clicking on the blue "View representations" buttons throughout the document. Please note: comments are still being added and processed by the council, but all comments will be displayed as soon as possible.
